William Charles Decker, 83, of York Springs, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024, at the Gettysburg Hospital.
He was born October 8, 1940, in York Springs, PA the son of the late Lloyd A. and Maudzella M. (Eichelberger) Decker.
Bill served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Bill was retired from SKF USA, Inc. in Hanover after 35 1/2 years where he worked as an Engineer.
He was a life member of the York Springs Fire Company #1 and served as Vice-President for 25 years. Bill was also a member of the Upper Adams Fish and Game Association, East Berlin Fish and Game Association, American Legion Post #262 in Biglerville, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in York Springs, and a life member of the N.R.A.
Bill is survived by two daughters, Peggy Sue Yohe of San Antonio, TX, Tammy J. Kitzmiller of East Berlin; three grandchildren, Brandon Little, Megan Kitzmiller, Jess Ort; and four great-grandchildren, Brynn, Wyatt, Hollis, and Emerson.
Services will be held at a later date.
