Elizabeth Marie (Thomas) Livingston

Elizabeth Marie Livingston, 95, of Dillsburg passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023, peacefully at her home with her family by her side.

Liz was born March 8, 1927, in Mt. Holly Springs the daughter of the late Clarence and Blanche (Haverstock) Thomas.

Elizabeth was the widow of John Levere Livingston.

She was a retired therapist for the former Sheaffer Chiropractic and Gamber Chiropractic both of Dillsburg. She was a member of the Red Mount United Methodist Church, East Berlin.  Elizabeth was a graduate of the Boiling Springs High School. She enjoyed sewing, fishing, and camping. Liz was an avid card player and belonged to several card clubs over the years. 

Elizabeth is survived by two daughters, Beverly K. Thayer (Gregory) of Dillsburg, Karen E. Gordon of Dillsburg; her sister, Sarah Varner of Mt. Holly Springs; Four grandchildren, Andrea Jacquelin (Pierson), Owen Thayer (Sarah), Ashley Gordon (Melissa), Kylie Gordon; and four great-grandchildren, Mason, Ellis, Evanora, and Spencer. She was preceded in death by a son, George Levere Livingston and a sister, Edna Hurley.

Graveside services will be held Monday, February 6, 2023, at 1:00 pm in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, 1921 Ritner Highway, Carlisle, PA 17013.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dillsburg Area Public Library, 204 Mumper Lane, Dillsburg, PA 17019.
