Alta E. (Smith) Dunn

Alta E. Dunn, of Wellsville, PA, entered into her heavenly home on Sunday, September 19, 2021.

She was born September 14, 1930 in Williamsport, Lycoming County, PA the daughter of the late Ernest M. and Alta M. Bachman Smith, of Bodines, PA.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wesley A. Dunn, of Cogan Station, PA; a sister, Juanita Snyder, of Cogan Station, PA and her brother Pastor Jonathan Smith, of Lebanon, PA and survived by his wife, Maybelle Smith. 

She retired from Dupont in 1985 and enjoyed camping, playing the bass guitar and auto harp.

She was a member of the Cross Roads Bible Church, The Square Dance Caller's Association and a past member of Pinchot Park Lion's Club. 

She is survived by her sister, Johanna Dunn, of Wellsville, PA and her brother, Daniel Smith and his wife, Harriet, of Harvey's Lake, PA and many nieces and nephews. 

A Memorial Service will be held on October 9, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Cross Roads Bible Church, 1022 York Road, Dillsburg, PA with Pastor Greg Sheffer, officiating.
