Andria was born at home on the farm. She would walk to a one room schoolhouse with her older brother and usually had to run to keep up with him. As she blossomed into adulthood, she became involved with St. Andrew's United Church and was a member of the Women's Institute of Canada.
Andria worked for Royal Bank of Canada, Northern Electric and CIBC Bank while living in Canada. When the family moved to Pennsylvania in 1971, Ron and Andria managed Williams Grove Park. Andria was then transferred to Tree Tops Time Share Villas as Operations Manager. She also sold real estate for a few years before fully retiring in 2000. In 2003 they moved back to Mechanicsburg to be closer to their children.
During retirement they traveled in their motorhome and visited 49 states and 10 Canadian Provinces with their dog Lady. Andria logged every journey including every stop and miles traveled. During the winter they became snowbirds and spent the winter in Arizona and/or Florida. Andria's health started to be a factor in their travels, so they limited their travels to local stops. When Andria was not traveling, she enjoyed knitting and hand-stitching beautiful quilts for family and friends. She also enjoyed golfing, reading, word search and spending time with the family. Over the years, Andria volunteered for many organizations.
