Angela Marie (Jones) McClain

Angela Marie (Jones) McClain, 46, of Mechanicsburg passed away peacefully on Friday, November 3, 2023, at the U.P.M.C. Community Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg surrounded by her family and best friends. 

She was born August 8, 1977, in Pottsville, PA the daughter of Joan M. Schaeffer of Lykens and Bruce and Diane Jones of Tremont.

Angela graduated from Tri-Valley Jr. Sr. High School and attended Thompson Institute where she received her medical degree as a phlebotomist before becoming a stay at home mom. 

She is survived by her  husband Michael A. McClain; three children, Cole McClain (fiancé Liz), Brayden McClain, Kennah McClain; a sister, Tracey Mattern of Hegins; two brothers, Steven Jones of Hegins, Kyle Jones (wife Sarah) of Pine Grove; nieces Ashley and Kelly Mattern, Lydia and Marleigh Jones; nephew Dalton Jones (wife Brittney); great-niece, Oaklynn; a sister-in-law, Trisha McClain of Shippensburg; a brother-in-law, James McClain (wife Melissa) of York Springs; nieces and nephews Corey Bears and Alayna McClain. 

Angela was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, John and Marjorie Jones; paternal aunt, Linda Schools; maternal grandparents, Annadele Wolford and Mervin Schaeffer; and maternal uncle, Larry Schaeffer. 

Angela will be loved and forever missed. Please keep her husband, children and family in your thoughts and prayers.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 11:00 am in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg, PA. Doors will be open at 10:00 am. All family and friends are invited to celebrate Angela's life.
