Barbara A. (Reidinger) Schreffler

Our beautiful mother, Barbara A. Schreffler, 73, sadly passed away Monday morning, June 6th, 2022 at The Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home in Carlisle, Pa.

   Born in Sunbury, Pa. on July 29th, 1948, she was the daughter of Robert Reidinger Sr. and Mary Reidinger (Stepp). She was a widow of Larry Schreffler, the love of her life since high school.

   Surviving are two children, Curtis Schreffler (Ursula) of Dillsburg, Pa. and Jule Schreffler Picot (Francois) of Mooresville, N.C., a sister Mary Troutman of Millmont, Pa., and six grandchildren: Austin Schreffler, Kyrsten Eller, Leah Schreffler, Duncan Eller, Shyla Schreffler and Leslie Schreffler.

   A stay at home mom, she nurtured her children with tight hugs, gentle guidance, words of encouragement and tons of love. Known for her infectious laugh, she brought such joy to all who loved her.

    Barbara’s journey was not without suffering yet her unwavering faithful spirit charged on as she touched so many lives with her prayers and words.

   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, June 11th, 2022 at 10:00 am in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 310 Hertzler Rd, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. A Viewing will be held 1/2 hour prior to the service on Saturday from 9:30 am t0 10:00 am at the Church.  Burial will be held later at the convenience of the Family. Memorial contributions may made to her church, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic  Church.
