Betty E. Yoder, 94, of Dillsburg passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Cumberland Crossings in Carlisle.
She was born December 26, 1929, in Lisburn, PA the daughter of the late H. Revere and Sylvia (Packer) Kochenour.
Betty was the widow of Harry M. Yoder.
She retired from Orweko Frocks in Mechanicsburg and previously worked at Gee Appeal in Grantham, Gettysburg Shoe in Dillsburg and Kinney Shoe in Shiremanstown.
Betty was a member of New Bethel United Methodist Church in Lewisberry. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, reading, cooking, baking and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Betty is survived by two daughters, Jane E. McCauslin (Gerald) of York Springs, Janet M. Catts (Edward) of Dillsburg; one brother, George of Halifax; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death along with her parents and husband by one brother Paul and one sister Evelyn Fields.
Services will be held Monday, June 24, 2024, at 2:00 pm in her church, New Bethel United Methodist Church, 1495 Kunkle's Mill Road, Lewisberry, PA. A visitation will be held Monday from 1-2 pm at the church. Burial will be held in the Emanuel Cemetery, Lewisberry.
