Betty "Betsy" Mae Guidara, 82, of Dillsburg, PA passed away Monday, November 25, 2024, at the Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle, PA.
She was born October 7, 1942, in Carlisle, PA the daughter of the late J. Robert and Lenore (Lehr) Richwine.
Betsy was the widow of Michael J. Guidara.
Betsy was educated in the family business, Northern High School, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and Bucknell University. She loved being involved in the family businesses at the Williams Grove Park and Speedway, Chalet Restaurant, and as well as teaching math at York College of Pennsylvania for forty years and also enjoyed helping her husband with Mike's Auto Supply and Sandwich King Deli.
Betsy was a member of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Alumni Association , Eastern Museum of Motor Racing, and Williams Grove Historical Steam Engine Association.
She enjoyed traveling, attending races, gardening, needle work, cross word puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, jazz, and enjoyed keeping up with her profession by reading calculus textbooks.
Betsy is survived by her brother, Jim Richwine and his wife Lois of Dillsburg; two nephews, David and his wife Kelli, Mark and his wife Elizabeth; and six great-nieces and nephews, Lily, Anna, Mason, Cecilia, Tessa and Gus.
Memorial services will be held Friday, December 20, 2024, at 11:00 am in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. A visitation will be held from 10-11 am prior to the service. Burial will be held in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Boiling Springs.
