Senior Master Sergeant, Blaine Edward Wiley, Retired, Passed away Monday, September 11, 2023, at his home.
He was born in Franklintown, PA on June 4, 1948, to Hazel N. (Hoffman) Wiley of Newville and the late Sylvan C. Wiley.
Blaine is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patricia A. (Gustin) Wiley; two daughters, Pamela Wiley of Louisiana, Christina Wiley of Franklintown; four siblings, Terry Wiley (Joyce) of Colorado, Linda Taylor (Tim) of Texas, Lou Ann McCauslin (Fred) of York Springs, Trina Sprecher (Scott) of Newville; a grandson, Adam Deshotel; and several nieces and nephews.
Blaine graduated from Northern York High School and R.E.T.S. Electronics School.
He retired after 35 years from the 193rd Air National Guard in Middletown. Blaine served in Vietnam, Desert Storm, Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom and Operation Just Cause.
Blaine loved hunting and fishing, but his love was his antique Super 77 Oliver Tractor that he took to many tractor shows and parades. He loved God, family, and our country.
Services will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023, at 11:00 am in the Calvary Methodist Church, 203 Mumper Lane, Dillsburg. A visitation will be held Saturday from 10-11 am at the church. A private burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to Calvary Methodist Church, 203 Mumper Lane, Dillsburg, PA 17019 with a designation for the mortgage fund.
