Bruce R. Keslar, 76, of Dillsburg, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, September 6, 2025.
Born on March 22, 1949, in Paxtang, Bruce was the son of the late Nelson and Susan Keslar. A 1969 graduate of Central Dauphin East High School, he continued his education at HACC and Grove City College.
A dedicated and respected professional, Bruce began his career as a salesman for Bodwell, where he met his beloved wife, Josie. They were married for over 40 years and together they raised their three children, Alan, Stephen, and Kelly. The family lived in Paxtang before moving to Dillsburg in 1994. Bruce later dedicated another 25 years of service to PinnacleHealth Hospital before his retirement. Following Josie's passing, Bruce honored her memory by becoming the proud owner of Josie's German Cafe and Market.
A man of few words, Bruce was known for his quiet charm and unique sense of humor. He was a devoted provider who always put his family first. Known for his honesty and integrity, he never cut corners and was committed to doing the right thing. He was held in high regard by his coworkers and friends.
Bruce was insistent that no memorial service be held, stating, "Don't waste your time on me. I will be dead, so what do I care? Go do something fun." He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
