Carol A. (Straw) Bordner

Carol A. (Straw) Bordner, 86, of Mesa, Arizona and formerly of Dillsburg, passed away Tuesday, February 17th, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

   She was born Saturday, April 15th, 1939 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Forrest Wendell “Forry” and Dorothy June Keiter Straw. 

  Carol was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Fileys Parish, Dillsburg and the Williams Grove Old Timers.

    She was the loving wife of 58 years to the late Marlin W. Bordner, who passed away July 30th, 2015 .

    Carol is survived by her loving son and daughter, Richard A. Bordner, of Mesa, Arizona and Christine Y. Donath, also of Mesa, Arizona.  Her two grandchildren, Alex and Ryan Stewart and two great-grandchildren, Abigail and Jacob Stewart.

    Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be alongside her husband in the Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
