Carolyn Louise (Albright) Albert

Carolyn Louise Albert, 87, of Wellsville, PA passed away Monday, May 19, 2025, at her home.

   She was born December 5, 1937, in Dillsburg, PA the daughter of the late Roy and Ada (Hughes) Albright.

   Carolyn was the widow of Clair E. Albert.

   She retired from Ski Roundtop where she worked in food service. 

  Carolyn enjoyed bingo, card games, playing the slot machines and was an avid reader. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and hosting holiday meals.

   She is survived by five children, James A. Albright of Somerset, Kathy V. Eshleman (Kenny) of Dover, Eddie C. Albert of Wellsville, Judy C. Smith (Vernon) of Dover, Jody L. DeShong (Ron) of Wellsville; seven step-children, Clair E. Albert, Jr. (Barb) of Mechanicsburg, James R. Albert of Port Orange FL, Shirl Markley (Clay) of Edgewater FL, Susan C. Konzelmann of Rochester IL, Diane I. Einsig (Bill) of Wellsville, Doug A.L. Albert (Deb) of Mechanicsburg, Barb P.G. Leininger (Dave) of Ponce Inlet FL; five siblings, Gene Albright (Darlene) of Dover, Janet Doyle of New Oxford, John Albright (Linda) of Dover, Vivian Delp of York, Robert Albright of State College; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Nadene Ettinger of Wellsville; and a longtime friend, Ronda Forbes of York.  She was predeceased in addition to her parents and husband by a step-daughter Yvonne M. Albert and four brothers, Ken, Rich, Elwood, and Harold Albright. 

   Services will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at noon in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. A visitation will be held Tuesday from 10:00 am until noon at the funeral home. Burial will be held in the Suburban Memorial Gardens, Dover.
