Carolyn K. (Krall) Garner

Carolyn K. Garner, 94, of Dillsburg passed away Saturday, June 1st, 2024, at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital, Mechanicsburg. 

   She was born September 17th, 1929, in Kralltown, PA the daughter of the late Charles and Catherine (Miller) Krall.

   She was a graduate of the former East Berlin High School, class of 1946.

   Carolyn was the former secretary for George Pfaltzgraff of Pfaltzgraff Pottery in York, PA.

   Carolyn was a member of Hope Grace Brethren Church in Dillsburg, Northern York County Historical and Preservation Society, a long standing member of the Dillsburg Garden, Harrisburg Garden Club, and the Keystone and Pennswood painters. 

   She enjoyed decorative painting and antiquing. 

   Carolyn is survived by three daughters, Suzann E. Zinn and her husband Terry of Lewisberry, Vonnie Jo Bowman and her husband James of Etters, Pamela L. Noel of Maryland, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death along with her parents by a daughter, Sharon K. Cressler.

   Services will be held Friday, June 7th, 2024, at 11:00 am in her church, Hope Grace Brethren Church, 110 Old York Road, Dillsburg, 17019. A viewing will be held Friday from 10-11 am at the church. Burial will be held in the Barrens Salem Union Cemetery, Dillsburg. 

   In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to her church, Hope Grace Brethren Church at the above address.
