Carolyn Laurine (Witmer) Neal

Carolyn Laurine Neal, 77, of Dillsburg passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

   She was born January 18, 1948, in Dillsburg, PA the daughter of the late David and Grace (Smith) Witmer.

   Carolyn retired as a bank teller for Citizens Bank, having worked at the Dillsburg branch for 47 years.

   She was a graduate of Northern High School class of 1965. Carolyn was an active member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, she loved God and her church and served as its treasurer. She was also a member of the Farm Women's Group #31, President of the York County Farm Women, and T.O.P.S. 

Carolyn enjoyed shopping, cooking, baking, spoiling and loving her grandchildren, music, animals, and spending time at the beach. 

   She is survived by her two daughters, Shelley R. Abrashoff and her husband Steve of Dillsburg, Graci E. Kimmel and her husband Cade Bleacher of Dillsburg; three brothers, David B. Witmer, III of Locust Grove, VA, Eldon E. Witmer of Dillsburg, Perry A. Witmer of Dillsburg, and four grandchildren, Alison Pereira, Steve Abrashoff, Ella Koons, and Rosslyn Bleacher.

   Services will be held Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 11:00 am in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. Viewings will be held Wednesday from 6-8 pm and on Thursday from 10-11 am both at the funeral home. Burial will be held in the Emanuel Cemetery, Lewisberry.
