Catherine E. (Roush) Warick

Catherine E. Warick, 101, of Dillsburg passed away on August 13, 2021. Catherine was born on November 20, 1919, to the late Elmer and Carrie (Murphy) Roush and was preceded in death by her husband Jarvis H. Warick.

Catherine was born and raised in Perry County and was one of 11 children. She was a homemaker and worked various jobs in her lifetime; the most interesting was her work at the Enola Freight Yard during World War II. Catherine was a woman of simple means but how she loved to cook and bake for her family and friends.

Catherine is survived by her children Ronnie Boyer, Sally (Reginald) Atkinson, Jarvis (Maureen) Warick, Jr. and Chyrle (William) Sheppard and her 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, her sister Ruby Shumaker and numerous nieces and nephews.

Catherine was preceded in death by her daughter Debra O'Berry, great granddaughter Audrey O'Berry, her brothers James Roush, Earl Roush, Robert Roush, Harry Roush, Howard Roush and her sisters Ethel Schleis, Dorothy Garlin, Betty Bonchalk and Lucina Campbell.

Graveside services will be held at the Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill, PA on Friday, August 20, 2021, at 10:30 am. There will be no viewing. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
