Cora B. "Bernie" (Wiley) Smee

Cora B. "Bernie" Smee, 85, formerly of Dillsburg, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021, at the Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle.

   She was born July 12, 1936, in Warrington Township, York County, PA the daughter of the late Christopher and Zelda (Watson) Wiley.

   Cora was the widow of James G. Smee.

   She retired in 1996 from Kinney Shoe Corporation, Shiremanstown. 

   Cora is survived by a daughter, Beth A. Lesh and her husband, Barry of Shermansdale; a son, Brian A. Smee of York Haven; four grandchildren, Caitlin, Chelsey, Heather, Cody; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death along with her parents and husband by a daughter, Jacqueline E. Smee; three brothers, Mearl T. Wiley, George W. Wiley, Sylvan C. Wiley; and one sister, Mildred A. Martin.

   Services will be held Thursday, November 18, 2021, at 1:00 pm in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. Burial will follow in the Suburban Memorial Gardens, Dover. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
