Curvin Frederick Klugh, Sr.

Curvin Frederick Klugh, Sr., 91, of Dillsburg, PA passed away Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the Mercy House in Chambersburg, PA.

   He was born Thursday, October 25th, 1934, in East Berlin, PA the son of the late Frederick and Marguerite (Hankey) Klugh.

   Curvin was retired after 31 years from HARSCO in Harrisburg where he worked as a lathe operator. He also operated Klugh Coal and Backhoe Service and was a bus contractor for Bermudian Springs School District. 

   Curvin served his country in the U.S. Army from 1959-1961 in Stuttgart, Germany. 

   He was a lifetime member of the former Barrens United Lutheran Church, Dillsburg and attended the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Dillsburg. Curvin enjoyed boating at Raystown Lake, fishing, spending time on the Susquehanna River at his cabin, traveling, and farming with his dad.

   Curvin is survived by his wife Judy Kay (Doyal) Klugh. He was preceded in death by his son, Curvin F. Klugh, Jr. Curvin is also survived by two step-sons, Russell T. Gibbons (Karen Renee) of Mechanicsburg, Scott Gibbons (Mandy) of Huffman, TX; three grandchildren, Justin Klugh, Jamie Klugh, and Shannon Gibbons. He was also preceded in death by his sister Louise Watts.

   Services will be held Friday, May 8, 2026, at 11:00 am in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg, PA. A viewing will be held Friday from 10-11 am at the funeral home. Burial will be held in the Barrens Salem Union Cemetery, Dillsburg. 

   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 South Baltimore St., Dillsburg, PA 17019.
