Cynthia Rose Clauser, age 68, of Las Vegas, NV and formerly of Dillsburg, PA passed away on Tuesday April 1, 2025 at Sunrise Hospital Medical Center, Las Vegas.
Cindy affectionally known by friends and family was born August 24, 1956.
Cindy was the youngest daughter of Jack and Irma Clauser. Survived by siblings Jeannette (Ray deceased) Strausbaugh of Ocean City MD, Jack (Eileen) Clauser of Lewisberry, Constance (Bruce) Merkel of Elizabethtown, Steven (Doris) Clauser of Dillsburg and Kathleen (David) Brown of Elizabethtown.
Cindy was also loved by her close neighbors and friends, especially Ray Garcia, who considered her his second grandmother.
Before retirement, Cindy worked surveying people for businesses in the Las Vegas area. Cindy graduated from Northern High School in 1974 and Shippensburg State College in 1978.
Other highlights of Cindy’s life included: participated in the high school debate club, served in the Army Reserves (she was honorably discharged as a Captain), tutored English for Sylvan Learning Center, volunteered in many charities most recently at the library in Las Vegas and loved reading.
Cindy’s faith was enhanced by watching multiple religious TV shows on Sundays.
The plan is to place her ashes in the same columbarium as her parents.
A remembrance of Cindy’s Life will be private at the convenience of the family.
