Deanna J. (Fisher) Erdman

Deanna J. Erdman, 87, of Camp Hill, PA passed away Friday, September 13, 2024, at Country Meadows Retirement Community, Mechanicsburg, PA.

   She was born April 29, 1937, in Harrisburg, PA the daughter of the late Roy and Ava (Fiveash) Fisher.

   Deanna was the widow of Dale E. Erdman.

   Deanna was a graduate of Shippensburg State Teacher Collage in 1959 and started teaching third grade for four years at the West Shore School District and retired after twenty-seven years at the Northern York County School District. 

   Deanna was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Shiremanstown and volunteered at the Calvary Methodist Thrift Shop in Dillsburg. 

   She is survived by her son, Shaun Laughman and his partner Joann Zuna of Wormleysburg; and her sister, Marlene Fisher of Los Angles, CA. Deanna was preceded in death by her brother R.D. (Bud) Fisher.

   Services will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 12:00 pm at Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg, PA. A visitation will be held from 11:00 am-12:00 pm prior to the service. Burial will be held in the Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill, PA.
