Delta Rosetta (Lory) Rumsey

Delta R. Rumsey, 97, of Dillsburg passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Celebration Villa of Dillsburg, PA.

She was born November 18, 1926, in Dillsburg, PA the daughter of the late Wesley and Sophia (Starry) Lory.

Delta was the widow of Ralph K. Rumsey.

She was a retired floral arranger having worked for Pealers Flowers and The Blossom Shop. 

Delta was a member of Red Mount United Methodist Church, East Berlin. She enjoyed attending yard sales, flea markets, playing bingo, square dancing, and crocheting.  Delta also enjoyed entering items in the Dillsburg Farmers Fair. She was a member of the Dillsburg Senior Activity Center and the Gettysburg Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America. 

Delta is survived by her daughter, Linda E. Kemble (Roy) of Harrisburg; a son, Lavern A. Rumsey of Wellsville; three grandchildren, Nicholas, Melissa, Alison; and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Monday, October 28, 2024, at 10:00 am in the Dillsburg Cemetery-Mountain Road.
