Diane E. (Rupp) McHugh

Diane Elizabeth McHugh was born Diane Elizabeth Rupp in Harrisburg on August 2, 1952, and went home with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 10, 2025.

Diane was preceded in death by her father, Paul E. Rupp, her mother, Mary E. Rupp (Dyke) and her sister, Patsy Graybar of Myrtle Beach, SC, as well as her dear friend Anna L. Royer of Bethany Village, Mechanicsburg, PA.

She is survived by her husband, Paul McHugh of Shiremanstown, PA, her niece, Lori Graybar of Myrtle Beach, SC, her nephew, Michael (Betty) Forry of Enola, PA, her niece Deb (Mark) Zeigler of Orrtanna, PA, a great-niece Stephanie (Jeff) Reim of Cranberry Township, PA, and a great-niece Emily (Adam) Walk of Marysville, PA, and many friends who will miss her dearly.

Diane loved sports and in recent years enjoyed annual trips to Florida with her husband, Paul, to enjoy spring training baseball games, and to smell the salt air and enjoy the beach.

Diane had been a musician, an EMT, worked at Highmark in Camp Hill, PA, at School Claims Services as a Sales Coordinator Supervisor, while also working part-time in a secretarial position at Bethany Village, before she retired in 2018.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 2:00 pm in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg, PA. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-2 pm at the funeral home.
