Donald Calvin Cook, 85, of Dillsburg passed away Sunday, July 20, 2025, at the VA Hospital of Lebanon.
He was born April 29, 1940, in Dillsburg, PA the son of the late Paul H. and Mabel (Kimmel) Cook.
Don was a graduate of Northern High School class of 1958 and York Academy of Arts. Don then went on to proudly serve in the U.S. Army for 3 years state side and in Korea. When he was discharged from the Army he went on to start his own advertising agency (Tower Advertising, Inc.) for the next 35 years.
Don loved his God, his family, his friends, Conflab Mondays, Creekside Rod and Gun, Blacktop Miason, John's homemade pies, lunches at Wolfe's Diner, Range End Golf Club, all animals, and anyone he met who would engage in conversation.
He is survived by his wife Carol (Fortney) Cook, a sister, Marlene Eppley, and his beloved nieces and nephews. Don was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis J. Griffin.
Services will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 2:00 pm in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. A visitation will be held Tuesday from 1-2 pm at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow the service at Filey's Cemetery, Dillsburg.
