Donald Richard Greenfield, Sr., of Dillsburg, PA passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on April 11, 1937, in Harrisburg, PA Donald lived a full and meaningful life dedicated to his family, work, and passions.
Donald was the beloved son of the late Glenn and Janet Greenfield. He grew up in Pennsylvania and carried a strong work ethic throughout his life. He served as a Herdsman for Ashcombe's Farm and Diary, where he developed a deep connection to the land and its rhythms.
Later in life he worked for Weis Markets Bakery and contributed to the Patriot News, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication.
Family was the heart of Donald's life. He was predeceased by his cherished wife Ruth Greenfield, his daughter Debbie Greenfield, his brother Larry Greenfield and his sister Linda Arbolishvili.
He is survived by his loving children, sons Donald Greenfield, Jr. along with his wife Sheri; Douglas Greenfield; daughters Brenda O'Connor and Wendy (Beers) Greenfield. Donald also leaves behind his sister Shirley Warden, nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Donald found immense joy in watching his children and grandchildren participate in sports. A devoted fan of baseball and football, he cheered passionately for the Baltimore Orioles and Kansas City Chiefs.
These moments brought him great happiness and allowed him to share special bonds with those he loved.
