Donald L. Lehman

Donald L. Lehman, 96, of York Springs, PA passed away Thursday, December 18th, 2025, at The Brethren Home Community, New Oxford, PA.

     He was born Sunday, March 24th, 1929, in York Springs, PA the son of the late J. Paul and Marie I. (Breighner) Lehman.

     Donald was the widower of Carolyn M. (Gochenaur) Lehman.

     Donald along with his brother owned and operated the Lehman Feed Store in York Springs. He was a graduate of the former York Springs High School and served his country in the U.S. Army. 

     He was a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in York Springs where he sang in the choir and served on the church council. Donald was also a member and past Master of the Hebron Masonic Lodge #465 F. & A.M. in New Oxford.

     He loved antique and classic cars, golfing, camping, and especially spending time with his family.

     Donald is survived by his son Randy L. Lehman and his husband M. Bruce Ruble of Lebanon; his daughter-in-law, Donna K. Lehman of Spring Grove; his granddaughter, Stephanie M. Linebaugh and her husband Noah of York; his siblings, William Lehman of New Oxford, Arla Cook of Carlisle; Joyce Sibert and her husband David of New Oxford;  and his relative by marriage,  Darlene Heebner of York Springs. He was preceded in death by his son Robert P. Lehman and his brother Wendell Lehman.

     Services will be held Monday, December 29th, 2025, at 11:00 am in his church, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 216 Main St., York Springs, PA. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:30-11:00 am at the church. Burial will be held in the Sunnyside Cemetery in York Springs.
