Donald K. Peters, Sr.

Donald K. Peters, Sr., 85, of Dillsburg passed away Monday, August 8, 2022, at the Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center, Camp Hill.
      He was born April 26, 1937, in Duncannon, PA the son of the late Clyde C. and Helena (Zanger) Peters.

     Donald was a retired custodian for the Mechanicsburg School District. He was a member of Arnolds United Methodist Church and the Dillsburg American Legion, Post #26.
Donald was the widower of Rae G. (Pechart) Peters.

     He is survived by four sons, Donald K. Peters, Jr., Scott A. Peters, James H. Peters all of Dillsburg, Ord Smith and his wife Glenda of Liverpool; two brothers, Clyde and Frank Peters; six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

     Services will be held Friday, August 12, 2022, at 11:00 am in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. A viewing will be held Friday from 10-11 am at the funeral home. Burial will be held in the Dillsburg Cemetery-Mountain Road.
