Donna J. (Bentz) Stoudnour

Donna J. Stoudnour, age 82, of Mechanicsburg and formerly of Dillsburg went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 10, 2023, at Bethany Village, Mechanicburg.

   She was born June 4, 1940, in Carlisle the daughter of the late Soloman and Dorothy (Trostle) Bentz.

   Donna was a graduate of Northern High School, class of 1958 and received her Medical Assistant Degree from Elizabethtown College in 1960. She then pursued her career as a Medical Assistant for three doctors and then went on to work for Messiah College. 

   Donna was a member of the Dillsburg Brethren in Christ Church. She enjoyed spending time doing her devotions, participating in church women's groups and watching church programs on TV.   Donna also enjoyed traveling around the country with Terry, reading, playing bingo, and spending time in Florida during the winter and Hilton Island vacations during the summer. 

   Donna is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Terry L. Stoudnour; her son, Timothy L. Stoudnour and his wife Martha of Ashland, VA; her grandchildren, Allison Snavely and her husband Jaron and Trenton Stoudnour; her brothers, William Bentz of New Castle, DE and Richard Elicker of Berlin, MD.

   A celebration of life will be held Monday, May 1, 2023, at 11:00 am at Dillsburg Brethren in Christ Church, 18 East Harrisburg St., Dillsburg. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in the Dillsburg Cemetery-Mountain Road.

   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church, Dillsburg Brethren in Christ Church, 18 East Harrisburg St., Dillsburg, PA 17019 or the Terry L. Stoudnour Education Award, Messiah University, Office of Development, one University Ave., Ste. 3013, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
