Doris Ann VanHyning

Doris Ann Van Hyning, 88, of Dillsburg passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at her home.

   She was born August 7, 1935, in York the daughter of the late John T. and Anna Mae (Zeager) Dawson.

   Doris was the widow of LeMar Graybill Van Hyning, Sr.

   She retired from Country Meadows Retirement Community where she worked as an Administrative Coordinator. 

   Doris enjoyed collecting antiques, sewing, horse barrel racing, traveling and spending time with her family.

   She is survived by her fiancé, Delmar "Del" Lantz of Dillsburg; her son, LeMar Graybill Van Hyning, Jr. and his wife Pamela Rose of Dover; her sister, June Heilman of Emigsville; two grandchildren, LeMar Graybill Van Hyning, III, Melissa Rose Gerhard and her husband Brad; and two great-grandchildren, Brent Thomas and MaBella Rose Gerhard.

   Private services and burial will be held in the Prospect Hill Cemetery, York.
