Earl James Roosa

Earl James Roosa, 91, of Dillsburg, PA and formerly of Accord, NY passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024, at his home.

He was born October 26, 1932, in Kingston, NY the son of the late Robert W. and Lyle E. (Good) Roosa.

Earl was a retired engineer with the New York Department of Correction-Naponach Prison. 

He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion in Ellenville, NY.

Earl enjoyed golfing. 

Earl is survived by two children, Cathi A. Roosa-Tokle and her husband Ken of Mechanicsburg, Robert J. Roosa, Sr. and his wife Stina of Dillsburg; one sister, Helen R. Tochterman of Ellenville, NY; four grandchildren, Robert J. Roosa, Jr, James J. Roosa, Logan J. Tokle, Anna C. Tokle; four great-grandchildren, Stella, Brody, Bobby, Braelynn Roosa; two nieces, and two nephews. Earl was preceded in death by his brother Richard R. Roosa.

Memorial services will be held in the spring at Whitfield Cemetery, Accord, NY.
