Elaine Louise (Shive) Ellinger

Elaine Louise Ellinger, 78, of Dillsburg passed away Monday, March 3, 2025, at the U.P.M.C. Memorial Hospital, York.

   She was born October 14, 1946, Wellsville, PA the daughter of the late Edwin and Lillie (Hess) Shive.

   Elaine enjoyed birdwatching, gardening, hiking, and attending car shows and craft fairs. She also enjoyed hosting family picnics.

   Elaine is survived by her husband Richard A. Ellinger; two daughters, Denise M. Kline (Brian) of Lewisberry, Teresa A. Shultz (Dave) of Mechanicsburg; two grandchildren, Shelby E. Trout (Brett), Braydon M. Kline; two great-grandchildren, Harper and Roman Trout. Elaine was preceded in death by her brother Fred Shive.

   Services will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 11:00 am at Franklintown United Brethren Church, 10 N. Baltimore Rd., Franklintown, PA. A visitation will be held Saturday from 10-11 am at the church. Burial will be held in the Dillsburg Cemetery-Golf Course Road.
