Elizabeth Anne Piatt, 85, formerly of Mechanicsburg, PA passed away Friday, July 5, 2024, at Providence Place Senior Living, Lancaster, PA.
She was born December 14, 1938, in Quakertown, PA the daughter of the late Ralph and Eva (Bleam) Butler.
Elizabeth was the widow of Dr. Robert G. Piatt.
She was a retired kindergarten teacher with the Northern York County School District.
Elizabeth was a member of the Camp Hill United Methodist Church and attended the Otterbein United Methodist Church when she moved to Lancaster and she enjoyed singing in the choir at both churches. Elizabeth enjoyed knitting and traveling in Europe while a member of a choral group.
She is survived by two sons, Robert B. Piatt of Hanover, David A. Piatt of Marietta; one daughter, Kimberlee A. Holland of New Cumberland; six grandchildren, Michael, John, Joseph, Sam, Julia, Eliott; and two great-grandchildren, Huxley and Mae. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Kathleen Felix.
Services will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 11:00 am in the Camp Hill United Methodist Church, 417 South 22nd. Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10-11 am at the church. Burial will follow the service in the Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the Camp Hill United Methodist Church, 417 South 22nd. Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011 or the Otterbein United Methodist Church, 20 East Clay Street, Lancaster, PA 17602.
