Ellen L. Fraker, 75, of Dillsburg, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025 surrounded by family at her home.
She was born November 13, 1949, in Chambersburg, PA, the daughter of the late Marshall and Winifred (Johns) Fritz.
Ellen was the beloved widow of James L. Fraker. She concluded a successful career, retiring from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Social Work. In her free time, Ellen found joy in music and dancing, flower gardening, baking, puzzles and reading.
Ellen is survived by two daughters, Jamey R. McClintock of Dillsburg, Melinda M. Fraker de Fonte of Enola; seven siblings, La Von Silverthorn of Washington State, Barbara Henry of Washington State, Judy Sites of Shippensburg, Cindy Treger of Chambersburg, Thomas Fritz of Indiana, Contance Rivera of Dover, Kimberly Shirley of Shippensburg; ten grandchildren, Kayla Wilson of Lewisberry, Aaron McClintock of Needmore, Matthew McClintock of Newville, Anna Kemper of Harrisburg, Michael McClintock of Dillsburg, Joel McClintock of Dillsburg, Jeremiah McClintock of Dillsburg, Victoria Fonte Fraker of Harrisburg, Giorgio Fonte Fraker of Enola, Chloe Fonte Fraker of Enola; and two great-grandchildren, Maisie James Wilson and Magnolia Luray McClintock. Ellen was preceded in death along with her parents, husband, and son-in-law Scott McClintock.
Services will be held on Monday, June 2, 2025, at Christian Life Assembly, 2645 Lisburn Road, Camp Hill, PA. A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. with a service and luncheon to follow. A graveside burial with the immediate family will be held. The service will be livestreamed on the Cocklin Funeral Home Facebook page.
