Ernest Calvin Bucher, Jr., 93, of Boiling Springs, PA passed away Monday, February 23rd, 2026, at the Carlisle Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born July 8th, 1932, in Dillsburg, PA the son of the late Ernest C. Bucher, Sr. and Bessie (Myers) Bucher.
Ernest was the widower of Anna P. (Eshleman) Bucher.
He was a lifelong farmer and he served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Ernest was a member of the Dillsburg American Legion Post #26 and he enjoyed bowling and especially spending time with his family.
He is survived by three children, Sandy K. Foreman (Randy) of Boiling Springs, Darla "Dee" Doerflinger of Wormleysburg, Wayne E. Bucher (Laura) of Carlisle; his daughter-in-law, Ruth Bucher of Boiling Springs; 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death along with his parents and wife by his son, Gary E. Bucher.
Services will be held in the Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill, PA at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests you to to Dairy Queen and order a banana split. .
