Eugene Baker Obituary

Eugene L. “Gene” Baker passed away Monday, March 21, 2022; he was 93 years old.

He is survived by a brother, a daughter from his first marriage to Mary Harbold Baker, two step-daughters from his second marriage to Orvilla Blair Baker, several nephews and their families.

Born on November 12, 1928, to Irene M. Forscht Baker and John R. Baker, Gene grew up in Dillsburg. He was proud to be a U. S. Marine Sergeant serving during the Korean War. Gene spent his career as a home builder in Pennsylvania and in Florida and returned to Dillsburg in 2020.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no memorial service.

Memorial contributions to any Veterans Association have been suggested by his family.
