Eugene C. Vitale

Eugene C. Vitale 93, of Dillsburg, PA passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024, at his home.

He was born August 11, 1931 in Woodbourne, PA. The son of Raffaele and Irene (Segatore) Vitale.

Eugene was the widower of Janet A. (Recla) Vitale.

Along with being a home builder, he retired as a Maintenance Supervisor for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Eugene served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the South Mountain V.F.W. Post 6771 and the American Legion Post 26, both of Dillsburg, PA.

Eugene enjoyed woodworking, fishing, spending time with his friends at Brothers Restaurant and, of course, the family dog, Gizmo. He was a skilled craftsman.

He is survived by his daughter, Janet A. McMillan (Thomas) of Myrtle Beach, SC; his son, Donald C. Vitale (Julie) of Dillsburg; and two granddaughters, Laura A. Vitale-Piconi and Jaclyn Vitale. He was preceded in death by 11 siblings.

Burial will be private at All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg, PA.
