Evaline A. Fleming, 96, of Taneytown, MD and formerly of Dillsburg, PA passed away Friday, January 10th, 2025, at her home.
She was born Sunday, July 29th, 1928, in Dillsburg, PA the daughter of the late Lynn Stough, Sr. and Nettie (Grove) Stough.
Evaline was the widow of Donald John Harlan Fleming.
She was a former self employed beautician for many years and then worked in the meat and deli departments of Konhaus and Giant grocery stores.
She was a former member and organist at South Mountain U.B. Church and was a current member of Mountain View Christian Fellowship.
Evaline was known as a outstanding baker and cook and was known for her donuts at the Dillsburg Farmers Fair.
She is survived by her daughter, Janice K. Fleming-White and her husband Wendell White of Taneytown, MD; one sister, Rogene V. Bentz of Gettysburg; and one grandchild, Ryan L. Miller. Evaline was preceded in death along with her parents by her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Ronald Miller; two brothers, Lynn Stough, Jr., Kenneth Stough, and one sister, Ruthanna Warehime.
Services will be held Friday, January 17, 2025, at noon in the Mountain View Christian Fellowship, 232 Kralltown Road, Dillsburg, PA 17019. A viewing will be held from 11:00 am-noon at the church. Burial will follow in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery, York Springs, PA.
