Foster E. Baker, of Carlisle, passed away Saturday, May 23rd, 2020 at Perry Village, New Bloomfield.
Foster was born September 29th, 1930 in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Harry & Mabel (Dick) Baker.
Foster was the widower of Evelyn E. (Stone) Baker to whom he was married to for 56 years.
He is survived by his son, Douglas Baker & wife Tina, of Shermans Dale. His daughter, Cathy Baker, of Carlisle. Two granddaughters: Jennifer and her husband Alan Folk & Michelle and her husband David Jackson, of Shermans Dale. 8 great-grandsons, Jeremy, Justice, Jenson, Leland, Korbin, Christopher Folk, and Deven and Bentley Jackson. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Frederick Baker, Harold Baker, Richard Baker, Wilmer Baker; three sisters, Anna Baker Gates, Frances Baker Cashman and Madelyn Baker.
Foster served his country in the U.S. Army.
He was a retired Teamster and was a 60 year plus member of the Eureka-West Shore Lodge #302 F.&A.M. Foster was a life long member of the Lutheran Faith and was a graduate of the former Dillsburg High School, Class of 1947.
Foster loved to travel, hunt, and spend time with his family.
A Masonic Service will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 North Chestnut Street, Dillsburg, PA 17019 with a Memorial Service to immediately follow at 11:15 AM.
