Francis "Frank" Musso Obituary

Francis Charles Musso of Dillsburg, lovingly known as "Frank" or "Tank" to many, passed peacefully at home, surrounded by those he loved, on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, at the age of 49.

Born on May 5th, 1976, in York, Pennsylvania, Frank graduated from York Catholic High School in 1994, where he played baseball and golf, and went on to earn a degree in accounting from York College of Pennsylvania in 2000. He later became a Certified Public Accountant and built a career in corporate tax, most recently serving as a Senior Tax Manager at KDC/One. He was known by his colleagues not only for his expertise and dedication, but for his kindness, patience, and quiet willingness to support others—earning the respect and genuine friendship of those he worked alongside.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Tabitha Musso, who he shared nearly 25 years of marriage with; his children, Austin Anderson and his wife Damira, Ryan Musso, and Evan Musso; and his beloved grandchildren, Parker Anderson, Aria Martinec, and Callum Anderson. He is also survived by his mother, Rose Musso-Snyder (Todd) of York; his siblings, Joe Snyder (Abbie) of York, Toni Snyder (Ian) of Dover, and Tom Snyder (Ashley) of York; his mother-in-law, Bonnie Trott of Dover; father-in-law, Ralph Bartram of Oceana, West Virginia; brother-in-law, Ralph Bartram (Renee) of Dillsburg and many beloved cousins. He leaves behind countless community friends who became like family, as well as his loyal dogs, Marley and Daisy.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Francis and Rose Musso, and his brother, Stevie Snyder.

Frank was deeply shaped by the presence and influence of his extended family—especially his aunt and uncles, Michael Musso, Francis Musso (his godfather), Anthony Musso, Mary Rock (his godmother), Joseph Musso, and Thomas Musso—who helped guide him and played an important role in the man he became.

Frank had the biggest heart. He loved deeply, gave freely, and showed up for the people in his life without hesitation or expectation. He was a devoted husband, a proud and supportive father, and the kind of friend everyone could count on. He had a way of making people feel welcomed, valued, and cared for.

He found joy in the simple things—golfing, traveling, card collecting and trading, fantasy sports, vintage toys and cartoons, and all things Star Wars. He was an always-present and “fun” parent—the carpool dad and sideline coach. He treasured time spent with his community friends, especially during wing nights and rounds of golf.

Frank loved the holidays, especially Christmas—no tree was ever too big, and it always went up early and came down late. He cherished family vacations, no matter the destination, believing that what mattered most was simply being together—and that no time together was ever long enough.

He often reminded those around him, “You work too much,” encouraging everyone to slow down, be present, and enjoy life. That was how he lived—fully, generously, and with an open heart.

Frank’s life was rooted in faith, love, and kindness. He was a member of West Shore Free Church and lived by simple but powerful principles: give what you can, have fun, live in the moment, and be present.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 6:00 PM at The Barn at Creeks Bend in Carlisle. In keeping with Frank’s wishes, the gathering will be informal. Guests are encouraged to come as they are most comfortable, wear something that reflects their relationship with Frank, or something that represents his interests or hobbies.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Cancer Association or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Frank will be remembered for his generosity, his humor, his unwavering support of those he loved, and the way he made life feel a little lighter and a lot more meaningful. His presence will be deeply missed, but the love he gave so freely will continue to live on in all who knew him.

“Let all that you do be done in love.” — 1 Corinthians 16:14
