Fred returned to Grantham Brethren in Christ Church about 3 years ago as was quickly welcomed back and loved by many members.
Both Fred & his wife Doris also served as substitute House parents at Milton Hershey School for 10+ years and really loved working with these boys. He loved playing basketball with these students and other sports which made him able to relate even better with these boys.

He then worked for both the PA Department of Highways and then the Bureau of Aviation which he retired in 1991. His last few years he would make personal special occasion cards from scratch as he was still a good artist and shared his love of family. He made an impression with his kindness and his quick wit answers that he never lost even after his stroke and unable to move while in hospital and rehab. He will be missed by many but we rejoice that he is now reunited with the love of his life and with God!
