George Leonard Valentine, Jr.

George Leonard Valentine, Jr., 73, of Dillsburg, passed away Saturday morning,  January 11th, 2025 at the UPMC West Shore Hospital.

  He was born Sunday, February 25th, 1951 in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of the late George L. & Doris M. Savage Valentine, Sr.

   George was had retired from the Commonwealth of PA Department of Labor and Industry where he had worked as a Plans Examiner.  He was also a US Navy veteran, having served on the USS Plymouth Rock and at Guantanamo Bay Naval Air Station during  the Vietnam War.  He was an avid gardener and enjoyed working in his Koi Pond.  But above all, George enjoyed spending time with his family and  friends.

      He is survived by his loving wife, Constance Manmiller Valentine.  His daughter, Alicia Wagner and her husband, Brandon, of North Ogden, UT.  His granddaughter, Lily.  Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Barbara Fesler. 

  Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held Friday, January 17th, 2025 at 10:00 am, in the Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.  There will be no viewing or visitation.
