Gerald (Jerry) Lee Stough, 78, of Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on March 18, 2023, at Penn State Hampden Medical Center.
Born on September 19, 1944, in Dillsburg, PA. He was the son of Ervin Stough and Arlene (Grove) Stough. Jerry is survived by his lovely wife, Eileen (Kennedy) Stough also of Dillsburg, his son Stephen, and his wife Heidi and their children Conner and Morgan of Camp Hill, his daughter Colleen and her husband Chuck and their children Leland and Layla, of Dillsburg. He is also survived by his brother, Joel of Ohio, along with other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, Nolan.
Jerry’s hobbies included hunting, fishing (mostly in Canada), golfing, traveling, cruising and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was a member of Eureka-West Shore Masonic Lodge 302 FAM, Mount Olivet United Church of Christ, East Berlin , Lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, Member of the East Berlin Fish and Game Association, Social Members of VFW East Berlin Post #8896, and VFW Dillsburg Post #6671, Sons of American Legion, Dillsburg, PA Post #026, and the Zembo Shriners of Harrisburg, and member of Northern High School Alumni Association.
Services will be held Friday, March 31st at the Cocklin Funeral Home, 30 N. Chestnut St. Dillsburg, Pa. A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00, Services will begin at 2:00. Graveside services will be held at the Mount Olivet United Church of Christ, 265 Two Churches Rd, East Berlin, PA 17316 and followed up with refreshments at York Springs Fire Hall.
