Glenn A. Miller, 70, of Dover passed away Thursday, August 1, 2024, at his home.
Glenn was born March 4, 1954, in Mechanicsburg, PA the son of the late Calvin A. and Sarah E. (Kroft) Miller.
He was a graduate of Northern High School, class of 1972. Glenn worked at the following business including Pomeroy's Shoe Department, forklift operator for Rite Aid, supervisor at Kampel Enterprises, and maintenance and bus driver for Presbyterian Senior Living.
Glenn was a member of Dillsburg American Legion Post #26, South Mountain V.F.W. Post 6771, Sinnemahoning Sportsman Association, and the N.R.A. He enjoyed hunting, going to the mountains, butchering, working in the garden, and NASCAR.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 44 years, Debra J. (Shearer) Miller; two brothers, Norman E. Miller of York Haven, Clyde M. Miller of Dover; his father-in-law, Darwin E. Shearer of Wellsville; three nieces, one nephew, and many close friends and neighbors. He was preceded in death along with his parents by one niece.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 11:00 am in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg, PA. A visitation will be held Wednesday from 10-11 am at the funeral home.
