Glenn "Grump" L. Stockenus, 81, of Dillsburg passed away Monday, September 18, 2023, at his home.
He was born February 23, 1942, in Bedford, PA the son of the late Grover L. and Alice D. (Messersmith) Stockenus.
Glenn was a retired Tool Maker for T.R.W. in Harrisburg.
He was a lifetime member of the Dillsburg Fish and Game Association, Dillsburg American Legion, and a former member of the Goldwing Club. Glenn served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, and Camping.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Helen M. (Henderson) Stockenus, one daughter, Paula M. Hinson (Brian) of Dillsburg; one son, Grover L. Stockenus of Dillsburg; two brothers, Gary L. Stockenus of Mannschoice, Garvin L. Stockenus of Dillsburg; three grandchildren, Angellica Barder, Dustin Hinson, and Cassandra Halterman.
Services will be held Friday, September 22, 2023, at 11:00 am in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. A viewing will be held Friday from 10-00-11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will be held in the Tri-County Memorial Gardens, Lewisberry.
