Harold Robert Coover

Harold Robert Coover, 89, of Dillsburg, PA passed away Friday, February 20, 2026, at the Penn State Health Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, PA. 

   He was born April 9, 1936, in Harrisburg, PA the son of the late John W. and Virgie V. (Livingston) Coover.

   Harold served his country in the Pennsylvania National Guard and was a retired telephone installer for Bell Telephone. 

   He was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Shiremanstown. 

   Harold was an avid collector of vintage cars and motorcycles and was a member of both the Hershey and Gettysburg Regions Antique Automobile Club of America. He also served on the Advisory Board of the Monaghan Township Planning Commission and enjoyed building construction projects. 

   Harold is survived by his wife, Mildred E. (Bramwell) Coover; his children, Lisa M. Tucci and her husband Frank of Dillsburg, Robert D. Coover and his wife Carmela of Dillsburg; and two grandchildren, Juliana Coover and Jacob Coover. He was preceded in death by two siblings, Romaine Shetter and Russell Coover.

   Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
