Harold E. Friedline

Harold E. Friedline, age 86, of Carlisle, PA and formerly of Dillsburg, PA passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle, PA.

He was born December 28, 1938, in Heidlersburg, PA, the son of the late Edward R. and Helen (McMaster) Friedline.

Harold attended Northern High School. He was a retired carpenter and loved having a project. Harold also loved farming from a young age and holding babies. 

Surviving family includes three sons,  Jeffrey (Mae) Friedline, George Friedline and Paul (Sherry) Friedline; one daughter, Marie (Eric) Krouch; one brother, Hugh Friedline; fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Alice (Stoll) Friedline, sons Luke Friedline and Gregory Friedline, daughter-in-law Vivica Friedline and brothers Curtis Friedline and George Friedline.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday,  October 21, 2025, at 2:00 pm in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg, PA. A visitation will be held from 1-2 pm prior to the service. Inurnment will be held at the Dillsburg Cemetery-Mountain Road.
