Harold Cephas Willis, 74, of Dillsburg passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at the U.P.M.C. Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
He was born May 18, 1949, in Mechanicsburg and was a graduate of the Mechanicsburg High School and Wilkes College.
Harold was the owner and operator of various businesses including Dillsburg Grain and Milling, Willis Trucking, Wiley Appliances, and Susquehanna Oil.
He was a member of the Zembo Temple and started the first motorcycle club and parade unit. Harold was also a member of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon, South Mountain V.F.W., and the Dillsburg American Legion.
He loved traveling and antiquing.
Harold is survived by his wife, Margie A. (Morrison) Willis; his son, Cephas S. Willis of York Springs and grandchildren, Marian Jean "M.J." Willis and Harrison "Harri" Willis; his step-son, John J. Leathers (Deanne) of Dover and grandchildren, Grace C. and Hope E. Leathers of Dover; his step-daughter, Karen A. Ensor (Eric) of Dillsburg and grandchildren, Holly A. Beh (Brandon) of Lewisberry and great-grandson, Thomas J. Beh, and grandchild, Eddie E. Ensor of Dillsburg. Harold was predeceased by a daughter, Marian Lee Willis.
Services will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 11:00 am in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. Viewings will be held Friday from 6-8 pm and on Saturday from 10-11 am at the funeral home.
