Helen J. Cadwallader, 108, of Wellsville passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at Providence Place Senior Living, Dover.
She was born September 17, 1914, in Dillsburg the daughter of the late Thomas and Lillian (Jackson) Cook.
Helen was the widow of John P. Cadwallader.
She worked for 19 years as the cook for Kralltown Elementary School. Helen also formerly worked at the Footlight Ranch. She enjoyed quilting and volunteered at the Dillsburg Area Public Library and with the Dillsburg Farmers Fair hall exhibits. Helen was a member of the Warrington Friends Meeting House, Wellsville.
She is survived by one son, J. Philip Cadwallader of Wellsville; one daughter, Faith C. Basehore and her husband Gary of East Berlin; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death along with her parents and husband by a daughter, Deborah Taylor.
