    Homer Lehman Kraybill passed away at UMPC West Shore on November 13, 2024 at the age of 100.

     Homer was predeceased by his loving wife, Mildred Sollenberger Kraybill, his parents Martin E. and Virgie L. Kraybill, his brothers John (Ruth) Garman and Spencer (Marie) Kraybill, sisters Amanda (Arthur) Woglemuth, Mary Helen (Haus) Solomon and Step-sister, Gladys Feese.

      Homer is survived by his children Theodore (Beth) Kraybill of Waverly, N.Y. and Dana Musser of Lititz, Pa. Grandchildren Shaun (Holly) Musser and their children Lucas, Caleb and Gabriel of Lititz, Pa. Katlyn (Matthew) Irwin and their children Uriah, Olivia and Judah of East Petersburg, Pa.. Jana Kraybill of Waverly NY and Kristianna (Isaac) dos Santos of Fort Myers, Fl. Many nieces and nephews. All of whom will miss him greatly.

     Homer was born on July 7, 1924 in Brandtsville, PA. He graduated in 1941 from Messiah Academy in Grantham, PA. He was employed by the former Pennsylvania Railroad for 42.5 yrs. He retired as a yard master in 1986. Homer was active in the Grantham Fire Co. He also served as the first Scoutmaster of Troop 190. He served as the secretary and a trustee of the Grantham Memorial Park for 47 years. He enjoyed volunteering at New Hope, Dillsburg, Pa. for 19 years.

      Homer was an active member of the Grantham Brethren in Christ Church serving as a deacon, Sunday School teacher, Superintendent and chairman of the stewardship committees. He also served on its board for 33 years and as congregational secretary for 16 years. Homer is remembered by many as someone who shared garden space, vegetables, garage bay and so much more.

     Homer and Mildred loved their community and were always ready to help neighbors as well as international families in any way they could.

     A celebration of life for both Homer and Mildred Kraybill will be held Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 2:00 pm in the Grantham Brethren in Christ Church, 421 Grantham Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.

     In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Grantham Brethren in Christ Church. 421 Grantham Rd., Mechanicsburg, PA  17055.
