Ira James Slothower, III

Ira James Slothower, III, 60, of York Haven, PA passed away Monday, January 22, 2024, at his home.

He was born February 13, 1963, in Carlisle, PA the son of the late Ira James Slothower, Jr. and Mary Ellen (Raines) Slothower.

Ira was employed at Real Services, York.

He was a member of the Mechanicsburg American Legion Post #109.

Ira is survived by his wife, Karen L. (Greene) Slothower; two step-sons, David E. Still, Jr. of York Haven, Michael J. Still of Enola; two brothers, Mark A. Slothower of Middletown, Scott V. Slothower of Dillsburg; and one granddaughter, Sophia Still of San Antonio, TX. Ira was preceded in death along with his parents by two brothers, Dennis and Ed Slothower. 

A celebration of life will be announce at a later date. Graveside services will be held in the Warrington Friends Cemetery, Wellsville on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 11:00 am.     

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
