Irma L. Fickel, 96, of Dillsburg passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Green Ridge Village in Newville.
She was born July 29, 1928, in Harrisburg, PA the daughter of the late Herman and Mollie (Glassberg) Garner.
Irma was the widow of Lloyd R. Fickel.
Irma attend the public schools in Harrisburg and retired from Mellon Bank in Dillsburg in 1990 where she worked as a teller.
Irma was a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church, Dillsburg and was a member of its Ladies Missionary Fellowship.
Irma is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A brief service will be held Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 11:00 am in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg, PA. There will be no viewing or visitation and burial will be held privately in the Sunnyside Cemetery, York Springs, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church, Cedar Hill Baptist Church, 154 Chestnut Grove Road, Dillsburg, PA 17019.
