Isabel Pearl (Schrade) Albert

Isabel Pearl (Schrade) Albert, 99, entered into the loving arms of her Lord Jesus on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at her home. She was born August 20, 1924, in Dillsburg, PA. The daughter of the late Charles E and Lila (Bear) Schrade. After 70 years of marriage, she was preceded in death by Dale C. Albert. 

After finishing grammar school Isabel attended business school in Harrisburg. While her husband served overseas during World War II, she worked at the Navy Depot in Mechanicsburg, PA. Upon Dale’s discharge from the Army, she left her job to be a homemaker. She was a member of Harmony Bethel Churches of God. She volunteered as a Sunday School teacher and served on numerous committees in her church. Through the years she enjoyed baking and hospitality. After retirement, she and Dale spent many hours woodworking crafts when they were not traveling the US. She loved having the family gather at her home for holidays and summer picnics.

Isabel is survived by two sons: Richard E. Albert (Doris), Jason A. Albert and one daughter, Sharon A. Hess (James); as well as, 7 grandsons: Dennis, Brett, Jeremy, Adam Albert and Eric, Brandon, and Kyle Hess; 14 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren, and 27 nieces and nephews.

Aside from her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her four brothers: John, George, Robert, and Paul Schrade and three sisters: Helen Hess, Vera Griffie, and Fay Bishop; and two daughters-in-law: Linda (Baker) and Kathy (Cook) Albert.

There will be graveside services at the discretion of the family.
